Obese?
Yeah that’s what they call it.
A 400 pound kid without the help of a
soul.
No one knows what made him this way,
but this is the way they all thought about it.
His brother pounds him with hate,
making him feel like losing his weight will never be a goal.
He tries and tries to think of a way
Just so he could finally lose this
weight.
Days go by with more and more irate,
But one day he knows he will prove them
wrong
By taking this weight-off by working
all summer long.
Tick-tock tick-tock, there goes the
knock.
At the door awaits the swole trainer
ready to take that weight off like a hog.
First week gone and the trainer has him
worked like a mule.
The closing of summer approaches and a
new lifestyle
Is about to be full. With his brother seeing
improvements
He starts to worry
Because he’s in no hurry
To stop picking on his brother.
He thinks and thinks about what to do
But with no worry in the world he keeps
on doing, no matter how bad the duel.
With weight losing
And his muscle improving,
He knocks off the pounds of fat,
knowing he is not losing.
Last day of summer and he’s looking at
the scale
And sees that he did not fail.
Looking back at it he’s much happier he
chose exercising instead of the costly bypass.
Oh, his name
As spoken with no shame,
Henry the Last.
that is a great poem, I like the rhyme scheme you used.
